The Industry Microsoft is probably going to invest in the Nano Machine. It can create meterials, and make vertually anything with them. The Price of the product, and the fact that it won't be a household item anytime soon.

DeleteI think that biomechanics, such as robotic limbs, and artificial organs are going to be the most financed, and important thing in the future. Robotic body parts can aid military veterans in surviving major injuries, and it can help common people too. Robotic limbs can prolong human lifespans, and generally increase quality of life.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this one because they got it figured out and have a long history of upgrading from wood limbs to plastic robotic arms and legs.
DeleteI agree Ezra, the only reason i didnt take this option is because i couldnt remember what it was called, but i feel like there is a big market for something like biomechanics and that there is more than enough money and effort going into this to be able to make it happen.

DeleteI like the self fitting cloths. I don't know how long it will take to design and adjust the budget of this, but sometime within the next 10 years this and self driving cars will be a major upgrade to the world. These technologies will save a lot of lives in the future.
ReplyDeleteHunter, I respect your answer, but I completely disagree with your answer, I feel like self-fitting clothes will die out, out of the 10 options we had, i feel like this one is one of the few that i believe just wont go anywhere.

DeleteI feel like self-driving vehicles will blow up because, not only does it have a substantial amount of investors, but we also have so many car accidents a year that it will be something everyone will strive for.

DeleteI think Self Driving cars are going to get pretty far and a lot of people will invest in them, but to be honest, you won't even catch me dead in a driving car. I hardly trust people to drive, let alone a robot. Robots malfunction just like people make mistakes. And if I make a mistake, I have more of a chance of getting out of that and fixing it than a robot does if it malfunctions and stops working.
ReplyDeleteSelf driving cars can't really be trusted. They're robots and robots make malfunctions that we can't fix unless we know the programming and stuff. Also, Robots are programmed by people and people make mistakes too.
DeleteI think the sunscreen pill will take off the fastest because people are lazy, and don't want to be applying sunscreen 24/7 when they are trying to have fun outside. The health industry will probably drive the production because it will probably have to be approved to be sold, and its something going into your body.

DeleteI think the self driving car is the closest to being developed because we need the technology is right there to develop it. I think it will be successful because it is high in demand ,we also need more car safety. I think the only thing to keep it from development would be if it is unsafe.

DeleteI think the crash proof cars will take off quick because car companies are already working on self-driving cars so why stop there. Plus i believe Google and other tech companies will research and experiment with this new technology and big tech companies are also swimming in cash and new technology so they could put a lot into this and have a good outcome. Crash proof cars are a good investment especially for parents with new teen drivers because their insurance is already high so why keep raising it with accidents.

DeleteSelf driving cars is going to be the next big thing because of how many mistakes people make so they want to take the human brain out of the equation and add a computer. I think it will have a lot a problems at first though because a self driving car can't always be right and make the right decisions. I think either google or a car company will be the first to put the technology out to the public for purchase. Perfecting the technology is going to be the hardest thing because computers can't always make the right decision and sometimes the sensors will be affected by the weather.

DeleteWhile self driving cars are very likely to be a possible future, I don't believe that it will take off as quickly as expected. I think that self driving vehicles will meet a plethora of human opposition. Many people do not trust an automaton to carry them around.

DeleteI think the robotic limbs will take off and be more financed before any of the other items in the video. There are about 2 million people that needs artificial limbs and about 185 thousand people a year that get amputations so I feel as if that would be more of a priority then a lot of the other things in the video.

DeleteI personally think that either the Self Driving Car or the Biomechanics will be the first to being developed. Both of these are already in progress and the closest to being done. The only thing that would be keeping the car from being released would be the expense. The biomechanics would be very useful in many ways for people who have lost a body part or need a certain type of organ that could be made using biomechanics.

ReplyDeleteSelf driving cars are yes, very useful and probably a lot more safe but I don't think it will take off as fast as some people think it will. It's helpful, yes, but I feel as if a lot of people won't trust a self driving car due to them barely have any control over the vehicle.

DeleteI also replied to another member of our class blog, Keira, about this same subject. I just wanted to let you know how much I strongly disagree with a passion. There is a slim to none chance that this sunscreen pill could even get past any health administrative groups in the U.S.

DeleteI think the pill will take off the fastest because some people don't want to take the time to put sunscreen on. Some people don't like putting sticky substances on their skin. The heath industry would definitely approve because it is way easier than putting sunscreen on.
ReplyDeleteI understand where you are coming from, with people not wanting to put the sticky substances on themselves, but would you really want all those chemicals in your bloodstream rather than on the outside of your skin? I know I wouldn't.
DeleteI think laser bonded healing will eventually take off and be huge in the med world. Doctors around the world are already using lasers to do things such as remove freckles, stretch marks, and unwanted tattoos. So, if a person with the brains and the money could invest into more research of laser bonding it could possibly save lives. For example, if there was a car accident that involved an ambulance, the EMT's could have these lasers in the ambulance and close up wounds before to much blood gets out.

DeleteI'm not so sure that this will be a very big technology. Many big industries and hospitals will not like to lose the money from people being able to do much of emergency work for themselves. So while the technology will be worked on, I'm not sure it will be released for commercial use.
